Back Roads Beauty: Seeing Red!

A freshly remodeled farmhouse.

One recent sparkling, fresh snow morning, I went out on an adventure on the dirt roads...

A beautiful barn house!

And I brought you home some  RED!

I knew you'd like the bright color against the snow.

And the soft white does make the red stand right out to this eye.

There are many shades, and they all speak to me.

Beautiful dormers.

There is beauty all around you.  Sometimes, you just have to go out and actively look for it!

Have a blessed weekend, all of you dear blog readers!

PS:  You are still here, aren't you??

Yes, still here. :) Enjoying colorful pictures, your stories and recipes. Also, lots of other things that pass through your blog. It's one of my favorites.

These are all grand! We just don't have barns around our area like these; most are in pretty bad shape with rusty metal roofs, some pieces blown off and never replaced. Our barns are all made with steel truses ~ no character ~ just usefulness.

I always find your blog very interesting!

Beautiful! I especially loved the red home with all the crisp, white trim! All the red is very cheerful during the grey days of winter. Lovely!
